My story
I am Franco-Japanese.
Between two cultures, two visions of time, and one shared respect for craftsmanship.
I grew up surrounded by objects that carried stories — not because they were perfect, but because they had lived. In Japan, I learned that time is not something to fight against. It leaves marks. And those marks give meaning.
My passion for watches began quietly. First by disassembling, understanding, assembling again. Then by searching for balance — between precision and imperfection, technique and emotion.
TAKUMI was born from that search.
Each watch is assembled by hand, in small batches, using reliable mechanical movements. But what truly defines each piece is the patina. Aging a watch is not damage — it is an art. An intentional, controlled process inspired by wabi-sabi, the Japanese philosophy that finds beauty in wear, asymmetry, and time itself.
No two watches are ever identical.
Each piece carries its own character, its own marks, its own silence.
TAKUMI is not about trends.
It is about patience.
About respecting the material.
About letting time become part of the design.
These watches are made for those who value authenticity over perfection, and meaning over excess.
This is not mass production.
This is craft.
This is TAKUMI.
